SMT Fashion offers clothing and fashion products, including ethnic wear, sarees, lehengas, bridal wear, men’s clothing and related products.

We make reasonable efforts to display product descriptions, photographs, colours, sizes, fabrics and other information accurately. However, the actual product colour may vary slightly due to photography, lighting conditions and differences in mobile, computer or other device displays.

Handloom, traditionally crafted and fabric-based products may have minor variations in colour, weave, embroidery, pattern or finish. Such natural variations may not be considered manufacturing defects.

Product availability is subject to stock. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any product without prior notice.

4. Sizes and Measurements

Customers must check the size chart and product measurements before placing an order.

Sizes and fitting may vary depending on the product style, fabric, manufacturer or design. SMT Fashion will not be responsible for an incorrect size selected by the customer.

If alteration services are offered for a particular product, additional terms, charges and processing time may apply. Altered or customised products may not be eligible for return or exchange except when defective or incorrectly supplied.

5. Prices and Taxes

All prices displayed on our website are in Indian Rupees unless another currency is specifically shown.

Applicable taxes, shipping charges or other fees will be displayed during checkout before you complete the payment.

We reserve the right to change product prices at any time. A price change will not affect an order that has already been accepted, except in the case of an obvious pricing, technical or typographical error.

6. Orders

Placing an order does not automatically mean that the order has been accepted.

An order will be considered accepted only after we verify the payment, product availability and order information. You may receive an order-confirmation email or message after successfully placing an order.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order for reasons including:

The product is unavailable.
Payment was unsuccessful or could not be verified.
Incorrect pricing or product information was displayed.
The delivery address is incomplete, inaccurate or not serviceable.
We suspect fraudulent, unauthorised or unlawful activity.

If we cancel a prepaid order, the eligible amount paid will be refunded through the original payment method.

Payments may be processed by authorised third-party payment gateways. Payment transactions may also be subject to the terms, conditions and security policies of the relevant payment provider or bank.

SMT Fashion does not directly store complete debit card, credit card or banking details.

Customers must use only payment methods that they are legally authorised to use. We are not responsible for payment failures caused by banks, card issuers, payment gateways, network interruptions or incorrect payment information.

8. Order Confirmation

After a successful order, an order-confirmation message or email may be sent to the contact information provided by the customer.

Customers should check the order confirmation and immediately inform us if there is an error in the product, quantity, size, delivery address or contact information.

Receiving an automated order confirmation does not prevent us from cancelling an order if payment verification fails, the product is unavailable or the order contains an obvious error.

9. Shipping and Delivery

Orders will be shipped to the delivery address provided during checkout. Customers are responsible for entering a complete and accurate address, postal code and contact number.

Delivery dates are estimates and cannot be guaranteed. Delivery may be delayed due to courier issues, weather, public holidays, strikes, remote locations, government restrictions, natural events or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Shipping charges and estimated delivery periods will be displayed during checkout or explained on our Shipping Policy page.

Customers must ensure that someone is available to receive the package. If delivery fails because of an incorrect address, unavailable recipient or repeated unsuccessful delivery attempts, additional shipping charges may apply for reshipment.

10. Inspection at Delivery

Customers should inspect the package at the time of delivery. Do not accept a package if it appears severely damaged, opened or tampered with, wherever rejection is permitted by the courier.

After delivery, customers should verify the product, size, quantity and condition.

For claims involving a damaged, defective, missing or incorrect product, customers may be required to provide clear photographs and an uninterrupted package-opening video. Claims must be submitted within the period stated in our Refund and Returns Policy.

11. Order Cancellation

Customers may request cancellation before the order has been processed or shipped.

Cancellation cannot be guaranteed after an order has been processed, customised, altered or handed over to the courier.

SMT Fashion may cancel an order if fulfilment is not possible. Any eligible payment received for a cancelled order will be refunded through the original payment method.

12. Returns, Exchanges and Refunds

Returns, exchanges and refunds are governed by our separate Refund and Returns Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions.

Products must meet the eligibility requirements stated in that policy. Unless required under applicable law, products may not qualify for return or exchange if they are:

Used, worn, washed or altered.
Damaged after delivery.
Returned without original tags or packaging.
Customised, stitched or made to order.
Returned outside the permitted return period.
Listed as non-returnable or final sale.
Damaged because of improper handling by the customer.

Receiving an eligible return does not automatically guarantee a refund. Returned products may be inspected before the refund or exchange is approved.

Approved refunds will generally be issued through the original payment method. Banks and payment providers may require additional time to credit the amount.
